Overturn is a word game with a modular board. Each player places their colored rings over letters to make words. If you use rings already placed by your opponent, you may turn the rings over to your color. The winner is the player with the most colored rings on the board at game's end. Essentially, it is Othello with words. It received the 1993 Mensa Select Award.
